From Itapuã to Barra along the coast, ending at the city's most famous sunset.

About this tour

An afternoon to see Salvador from the sea side. We start at Itapuã Lighthouse, immortalised by Dorival Caymmi, and follow the coast through Pituba and Rio Vermelho, home of acarajé and the Iemanjá festival.

We pass the Dique do Tororó, with its orixá sculptures on the water, and reach Farol da Barra in time to watch the sun set over the Bay of All Saints — the moment the whole city stops and applauds.
