Terms of use and cancellation policy

Updated on October 7, 2026

These terms govern the use of truetour.com.br and the purchase of tours and travel packages from TrueTour, based in Salvador, Bahia, Brasil ("TrueTour", "we").

1. Tours with online booking

  • The price shown is per person, in Brazilian reais (BRL). Children aged 2 to 11 pay the child rate; infants (0–1) travel free but count as passengers.
  • Your booking is confirmed only after the payment is approved by Mercado Pago. You will receive a booking code and voucher by email.
  • While you pay, seats are held for a limited time. If the payment is not completed in time, the booking expires and the seats are released.

2. Cancellations and changes by you

  • Free cancellation up to the deadline stated on each tour page (usually 24 hours before departure): you receive a full refund to the original payment method.
  • After that deadline, or in case of no-show, the amount is non-refundable, as the operation (vehicles, boats, guides) has already been committed.
  • Date changes are subject to availability and can be requested on WhatsApp or by email.
  • Online purchases may be withdrawn within 7 days of the booking (art. 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Code), provided the tour has not yet taken place.

3. Cancellations by us

Tours may be cancelled or changed due to weather, sea conditions, decisions by the authorities or reasons beyond our control. In that case you choose between rebooking and a full refund.

4. International packages

Packages are sold by quotation. Prices shown as "from" are indicative and depend on dates, availability and exchange rates. The final conditions — price, payment terms, cancellation and supplier rules (airlines, hotels) — are set out in the proposal you approve.

5. Your responsibilities

Arrive at the meeting point on time, carry an ID document, follow the guide's safety instructions and inform us of any health conditions, allergies or reduced mobility when booking.

6. Contact

These terms are governed by Brazilian law.
