About this tour

Salvador's most traditional boat trip. The schooner leaves the terminal with live music on board and crosses the bay to Frades Island, where we anchor off Ponta de Nossa Senhora for a swim in calm, clear water.

In the afternoon we sail to Itaparica, the largest island in the bay: free time for a fresh-fish lunch on the beach, the Fonte da Bica spring and a walk around the village. Seeing the city from the sea on the way back is the best late afternoon Salvador has to offer.

Meeting point

We pick you up at your hotel or guesthouse in Salvador (Barra, Ondina, Rio Vermelho, Pituba, Historic Centre and nearby). Add the address when booking; we confirm the exact time on WhatsApp the day before.

Good to know

Bring swimwear, sunscreen and some cash for lunch. If the sea is rough, the harbour authority may change the route — you choose between rebooking or a full refund.

Cancellation policy

Cancel for free up to 24 hours before departure and get a 100% refund. After that, the amount is non-refundable. If the tour is cancelled due to weather or by us, you choose between rebooking or a full refund.
