Frades & Itaparica Islands

The Bay of All Saints is the second largest on the Brazilian coast and hides dozens of islands just minutes from Salvador. The two most visited make up the classic schooner trip.

At Frades Island, the boat anchors off Ponta de Nossa Senhora, with its little church by the water, calm sea and pale sand. On Itaparica, the largest island in the bay, the highlights are the historic village, the Fonte da Bica spring and beach shacks serving fresh fish.
